The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colgan (2016)

9E7E7868-5F3C-4B91-AC31-B16D3B0B9BA0Nina Redman is a shy 29 year old librarian who loves books and has the uncanny knack of matching up the perfect book to every person. However, when the library where she works closes, she faces the threat of unemployment. Knowing that jobs needing her particular expertise are slim at best, Nina decides to take a chance and open her own bookmobile. This decision takes Nina out of her comfort zone and sets her on a grand adventure.

As Nina makes preparations to start her own business, her life is turned upside down and is completely different than what she envisioned. She encounters one challenging situation after another. But, Nina realizes that hiding behind books is no longer an option. So, Nina forges ahead in developing an entire new life, including the possibility of romance.

I enjoyed this book very much. The story develops quickly and is relatable. This book is a fun and fast read. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a light-hearted romance. Also, anyone who has a passion for books will most certainly like this book.
