My (not so) Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella (2017)

ADB2200C-99EF-4504-90AF-00F836BF7A55To Katie, taking risks and going after her dreams is her number one goal. Katie is a small town girl who leaves her family’s farm so that she can pursue the big city life in London. But, life isn’t easy for Katie and things don’t turn out exactly as she hoped they would. Her adventure includes an over-bearing boss, romance, revenge and new friendships.

The story’s plot moves along quickly and the dialogue of all the characters is believable. I became totally engrossed in this novel and could hardly wait to see what was going to happen next. The high-energy and amusing writing style made this a fun and addictive read. The vivid characters also helped make this a truly enjoyable novel.

I liked this book a lot and would recommend it to anyone looking for a light-hearted romantic comedy.
